What is the PCA? The Parent Community Association (PCA) of BASIS Independent McLean (BIM) is an independent, non-profit organization [501C(7)] that works collaboratively with the school to foster connections and build community. The mission of the PCA is to Promote, Cultivate, and Amplify the community of Basis Independent McLean. PCA membership is automatic for all parents and families that are enrolled in BASIS Independent McLean (BIM) or BASIS Independent Online (BIO) (whose base school is BIM). The organization is entirely parent and student led. All funds are collected in the form of dues and donations. The PCA does not fundraise or give money directly to the school. To learn more about our organization, please see detailshere.
The PCA invites all BASIS Independent McLean families to pay membership dues, teacher appreciation funds and class/grade level dues here or visit the Dues/Funds tab at the top of this page. The PCA also invites all BASIS Independent Online families (whose base school is BIM) to pay membership dues and class/grade level dues.
